Pilates Instructor

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pilates Instructor to join The Pilates Room team. Mat and/or Reformer Certified from an accredited program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Pilates and a commitment to promoting health and wellness. As a Pilates Instructor, you will lead group classes or private sessions and provide personalized instruction to clients, helping them achieve their fitness goals through effective Pilates techniques.

Duties

• Conduct engaging and safe Pilates classes for individuals and groups of varying skill levels.
• Develop customized workout plans that cater to the specific needs and goals of clients, layering exercises to fit their needs
• Provide clear instructions on proper form and technique to ensure safety and effectiveness during exercises.
• Monitor client progress and adjust programs as necessary to maximize results.
• Maintain a clean and organized studio environment, ensuring all equipment is in good condition.
• Promote the benefits of Pilates and encourage participation in classes through effective communication and fitness sales strategies.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in fitness, anatomy, physiology, and health club practices to enhance instructional quality.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy related to fitness training.
• Experience in personal training or sports coaching is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Pilates techniques with the ability to teach various levels from beginner to advanced.
