Lead a Team of Nurses as an RN Unit Manager
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to lead our team as a Full-Time RN Unit Manager at The Pines at Glens Falls, a US News & World Report Best Nursing Home.
About the Role
As an RN Unit Manager, you will oversee and coordinate the nursing staff within a dedicated unit. Your role is instrumental in ensuring the delivery of quality care, fostering a positive work environment, and promoting the health, comfort, and overall well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of nurses and support staff within the unit
- Develop and implement care plans, ensuring individualized resident care
- Supervise daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Conduct regular assessments to maintain quality standards and compliance
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to nursing staff
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize resident well-being

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid state RN nursing license
- An advanced degree or certification preferred
- Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a Long-Term Care setting preferred
- A compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
- Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill
- Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- The ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
