What You'll Do:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused Business Office Manager / Human Resource Representative to join our team. This role is perfect for someone looking to start their career in Human Resources and Business Office Management while gaining hands-on experience in payroll processing, new hire onboarding, and financial practices in a health care setting. As the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and new employees, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Office Management
- Efficient and maximized collection of accounts receivable
- Assist Responsible Party with medical pending applications and tracking through approval
- Accurately report billing and cash collection activity
- Ensure full compliance of the resident fund ledgers
- Perform month-end reconciliation of census, revenue, and accounts receivable
New Hire Onboarding & HR Administration
- Assist with new hire paperwork, background checks, and orientation to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
- Maintain employee files and HR records with confidentiality and accuracy.
HR & Payroll Support
- Assist with payroll processing, ensuring compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
- Assist with time and attendance tracking.

Rate of Pay
USD $26.44 - USD $28.84 /Hr.-
What You'll Bring:
Qualifications of Business Office Manager include:
- 1 years of billing and collections experience in long-term care including management or supervisory responsibilities
- 1 years of human resources experience preferred, or a college degree in Human Resources or a related field
- Payroll experience or exposure preferred
- Thorough knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Pending, Applied Income, and Managed Care reimbursement regulations
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment
- Excellent team-building, leadership, and communication skills
- Deadline-driven, detail-oriented individual
- Proficiency in office software including Excel, Word, Outlook, and billing/eligibility software solutions (Point Click Care, Inovalon and RFMS)
