The Pioneer Woman Mercantile is a destination bakery, deli, hotel, pizza restaurant, ice cream and candy shop, and general stores in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. The backbone of any state-of-the-art facility is a great team of cleaners and organizers.

Nothing else can happen if the dishes aren’t clean, and if the facility isn’t spotless and safe. You will be part of the team that makes sure our guests are walking into an environment that is fresh, safe and happy. If it needs to be cleaned in the deli, bakery, warehouse, or general store, you’re the person for the job! The Porter will also be an organizational expert, a stocker, a labeler, and a sanitation guru.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean kitchen, properly washes and sorts soiled dishes, and preps food as needed

• Keeps the dish area free of clutter and organized

• Sets up dish stations, including dish machines and sinks

• Maintains clean and dry floors throughout the shift

• Properly washes, stacks, and stores glassware, silverware, cookware, and storage containers

• Changes water of machines and sinks every two hours, or more often as required by business levels, and properly dilutes cleaning chemicals

• Assists in the timely storing of food deliveries

• Maintains trash cans throughout shift and removes full trash cans and boxes at the end of each shift

• Follows the posted daily dish cleaning duties

• Assists in other duties set forth or requested by the chef and lead porter as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• 1 year dishwashing experience preferred

• Ability to lift 50lbs

• Must be able to stand and work on feet for 8-10 hours minimum

• Must have reliable transportation

• Must have positive attitude
