Position Overview:
The Impact Manager will play a vital role in implementing and evaluating PRN’s commercialization and leadership programming initiatives. This individual will work directly with the Director of Instruction to facilitate the development and implementation of a suite of programs that serve and connect individuals and organizations within the PRN cluster to grow and commercialize a sustainable, regional deep tech ecosystem. Core responsibilities include program management, fostering and measuring impactful outcomes, creating equitable onramps to participation, maintaining collaboration among partners, and driving participant recruitment, retention, and outcomes efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Management and Implementation
- Manage Program Delivery: Facilitate the planning and execution of programs with the guidance of the Director of Instruction, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
- Resource Allocation and Talent Onboarding: Manage program logistics, including recruitment and onboarding of instructors, scheduling of sessions, and allocation of facilities and materials.
- Operational Oversight: Maintain detailed documentation of program workflows, participant progress, and stakeholder communications.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to all grant guidelines and Pennsylvania Department of Education requirements.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates to stakeholders, including funders and program partners, regarding milestones, challenges, and outcomes.
- Quality Assurance and Outcomes Evaluation
- Develop Metrics: Establish measurable outcomes and performance indicators for program success.
- Data Analysis: Collaborate with the Director of Instruction to track participant progress, skills development, job placements, and other economic benefits
- Continuous Improvement: Solicit feedback from participants and partners to refine program design and delivery.
- Documentation: Prepare comprehensive evaluation reports summarizing program impact and areas for enhancement.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong partnerships with regional robotics companies, academic institutions, workforce development agencies, and global partners.
- Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with PRN’s Director of Workforce Development, instructors, and external collaborators to align program activities.
- Industry Insights: Leverage insights from industry partners to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and responsive to emerging trends.
- Community Building: Represent the program at events and forums to cultivate relationships and promote the PRN’s mission.
- Marketing and Participant Recruitment
- Outreach Strategies: Develop and implement recruitment strategies under the guidance of the Director of Communications and Director of Instruction to reach underrepresented communities, including women, minorities, and economically disadvantaged groups.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Ensure equitable access to program opportunities and track recruitment metrics to monitor overall representation.
- Marketing Campaigns: Collaborate with the communications team to create program materials and promotional content.
- Participant Engagement: Utilize social media, community events, and partnerships with local organizations to increase visibility and enrollment.
Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of experience in program management, workforce development, or community engagement
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and project management software
- Ability to engage in storytelling that adapts to a diverse range of stakeholders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

General Information:
- Full-time position offering a competitive salary and flexible benefits.
- Hybrid work environment: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote.
- Must reside in Southwestern Pennsylvania, preferably the greater Pittsburgh region.
- Attendance at up to 30 evening events per year is expected, with the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
