- Expertise in the specific areas of merit systems (job content, qualifications, educational and training requirements of a wide variety of occupations) and wage and salary administration.
- Sound working knowledge of statistical concepts, methods, and data collection procedures.
- Ability to research information and analyze data to arrive at valid conclusions, recommendations, and plans of action.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and represent ideas clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- Must have the ability to plan, coordinate, and direct the work of subordinate staff engaged in various professional, technical, and clerical functions.
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
