We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to oversee and manage electrical, instrumentation, and controls (EIC) project work. This role involves both hands-on project execution and active client communication, ensuring that all project objectives are met efficiently and effectively. The Electrical Engineer will collaborate closely with the EIC Engineering Manager and play a key role in delivering high-quality engineering services.
Key Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program (or equivalent)
4-13 years of experience , ideally within the Oil & Gas or Utility sectors
Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification is preferred, but not required
Responsibilities :
Demonstrate in-depth expertise in electrical, instrumentation, control systems, and automation engineering practices.
Lead and coordinate the electrical aspects of technical projects to ensure smooth execution and adherence to quality standards.
Ensure compliance with departmental procedures and industry standards within the electrical engineering scope.
Provide strategic guidance and make key decisions related to electrical project scope and design.
Support the initial design phases, including defining project objectives and contributing to the power system design process.
Oversee the creation of essential electrical deliverables, including instrument lists, I / O lists, loop and wiring diagrams, and vendor documentation.
Contribute to the development of ETAP / SLD models, power system layouts, circuit and conduit schedules, and equipment specifications.
Aid in P&ID development and review, ensuring alignment with electrical engineering requirements.
Offer technical support during construction and commissioning stages, addressing any electrical-related issues that arise.
Provide leadership and direction on critical project matters, new engineering concepts, and high-priority tasks.
