About This Role
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Assistant Construction Project Manager. This role will involve supporting the management of various construction projects, ensuring successful project execution across a wide range of industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project execution plans, including safety, quality assurance, procurement, and staffing plans.
- Prepare and review project documents, including contracts, proposals, and change orders.
- Collaborate with the Project Management team to ensure project safety, quality standards, and adherence to schedules.
- Participate in site mobilization and demobilization planning.
- Support project risk reviews and consultations with legal teams as needed.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of RFPs, vendor selection, and subcontractor coordination.
- Manage project budgets, track costs, and update stakeholders on financial status.
- Ensure compliance with company standards for project documentation and filing systems.
- Participate in audits related to project safety, quality, and financial progress.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction project management or a related role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience with construction projects in industries such as water, transmission, energy, or commercial building is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and project cost control.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
