Must Haves:
- Strong experience owning the Call report process
- 5 years handling budgeting, board reporting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis and owning the accounting functions within a financial institution
- Must have experience handling the quarterly Call report FDIC
- Expert level Excel skills (including Macros)
- Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred:
- MBA
- CPA
- Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) oversight experience
- Experience overseeing human resources aspects
- Fiserv Cleartouch core processing and FMS/BankTEL financial systems, Finster bond accounting system experience
Job Description: The Controller position reports to the President and CEO and is responsible for overseeing liquidity management, financial analysis, forecasting, and compliance with accounting principles and regulatory guidance. Key duties include financial reporting, stress testing, interest rate risk management, and implementing regulatory changes. Desired experience includes proficiency in Fiserv Cleartouch, BankTEL systems, GAAP, bank accounting principles, financial reporting, and risk management. The role also involves managing daily cash operations, Federal Reserve bank account funding, reconciling Federal Reserve statements, and supervising the accounting and human resources departments. The position requires strong Excel skills and leadership in employee benefits, tax payments, and abandoned property management. The Controller will oversee a team of two assistants.
Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
