Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Sports Coach to join our team, responsible for guiding and mentoring students in various sports disciplines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching, physical education, and experience working with children. This role involves creating a positive and engaging environment where students can develop their athletic skills, learn teamwork, and foster a love for physical activity.
Duties
- Develop and implement training programs tailored to the needs and abilities of students.
- Conduct practice sessions that focus on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Educate students on the rules, techniques, and strategies of various sports.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance.
- Manage behavior effectively to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Organize and supervise competitive events and practices.
- Foster a safe environment for all participants, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with parents and staff to support student development both in sports and academics.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sports coaching or physical education preferred.
- Strong knowledge of various sports disciplines (e.g., swim, gym, martial arts).
- Experience working with children or students in an educational or recreational setting.
- Ability to manage behavior effectively while promoting positive interactions among students.
- Strong communication skills to educate and motivate students.
- Physical fitness level sufficient to demonstrate techniques and participate in activities (e.g., climbing).
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus but not required.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 per week
