Open 7-days a week, our facility offers an arcade of games, bocce ball, bouncy houses, wall climbing, cornhole, darts, pizza, sushi, tapas, a vast beer wall and so much more.
Job Summary:
The membership sales rep who will be selling new memberships for the club. They will professionally represent our company presenting the clubs features, benefits, services and programs. In addition they will assist our membership base by handling upgrades, transferring members, and rejoins. The successful candidate will also support the membership department staff with customer service related issues. Reporting to the Membership Sales Manager, they will focus on building relationships with customers, and assisting in the process of integrating new members into the club and assuring their satisfaction. The membership sales rep will build a strong referral base to generate leads and sales. Their primary objective is to attain or exceed monthly sales unit and membership fee goals while ensuring a positive buying experience for each new member.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Meet or Exceed membership monthly quotas by conducting membership calls and tours
Meet or exceed minimum daily performance expectations as set by ClubSport San Jose
Meet or exceed the minimum lead generating goal by self-generating new sales leads through outside sales efforts and grass roots marketing efforts
Conduct outside direct sales efforts in the community with merchants, corporate and residential markets
Telemarketing and follow up on all leads generated/provided by the clubs marketing efforts
Convert leads into prospects; convert prospects into tours; convert tours into new members
Help integrate new members into the club, reinforce their good buying decision, and convert them into satisfied referral-generators
Provide accurate information on lead sources/sales to Club Manager to assist in the design and implementation of future marketing campaigns
Handle membership inquiry call-ins
Give club tours to walk-ins and to scheduled appointments
Schedule appointments for tours (from inbound and outbound calls)
Close the sale, accurately complete all new membership paperwork, collect up- front payments and submit to accounting
Continually update and improve knowledge of club programs, services, policies, facilities, equipment, amenities, etc.
Attend one prospecting and one networking event monthly as assigned by your Club Manager
Participate in club and community functions/events as assigned by Club Manager
Participate in sales training and continuing education
Attend sales department meetings
Accurately complete and submit daily and weekly tracking sheets and semi-monthly payroll sheets
Other responsibilities as assigned by the Membership Manager

Education and Experience:
HS diploma or equivalent
Previous selling or account management experience
Physical Requirements:
