About the Role:
As a Dispatcher at Plumbing & Drain Co. (PDCO), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of services to our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate and manage the deployment of our technicians. You will be the central point of communication between our field teams and clients, facilitating smooth logistics and addressing any issues that may arise. Your ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential as you handle multiple tasks simultaneously, including answering phones and managing schedules. Ultimately, your efforts will directly contribute to the overall success and reputation of our company in the plumbing industry.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in dispatching or logistics management, familiarity of the Seattle area.
- Strong understanding scheduling, work scope, and routing
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the construction or plumbing industry.
- Familiarity with fleet management software.
- Familiarity with Service Titan and dispatch software
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule the dispatch of service vehicles and personnel to various job sites.
- Communicate effectively with field teams and clients to provide updates and resolve any issues.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, jobs and before, during, and after photos
- Respond promptly to incoming calls and inquiries, providing exceptional customer service.
Skills:
The required skills for this position, such as dispatching and logistics management, will be utilized daily to ensure that all service requests are handled efficiently. Peripheral vision is essential as you will need to monitor multiple tasks and communications simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Answering phones and providing excellent customer service will be a key part of your role, as you will be the first point of contact for clients.
