JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Staff Management & Customer Engagement:
✔ Recruit, interview, hire, and train a high-performing bar team.
✔ Develop clear expectations and hold staff accountable for performance, service standards, and professionalism.
✔ Assist in updating and improving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance efficiency, consistency, and guest experience.
✔ Interact with customers to develop loyalty, enhance guest experiences, and resolve concerns professionally.
Marketing, Events & Brand Awareness:
✔ Be a trendsetter who keeps our brand current, consistent, fresh, and relevant.
✔ Leverage social media and digital marketing platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Yelp, and Google to increase visibility and engagement.
✔ Coordinate and execute special events, marketing activations, fundraisers, and themed nightlife experiences.
✔ Plan and promote restaurant and bar events to drive community engagement.
✔ Develop new promotions and specialty cocktails based on industry trends, local interests, and seasonal flavors.
Menu Innovation & Bar Operations:
✔ Collaborate with co-managers to develop new cocktail menus, happy hour specials, and themed drink pairings.
✔ Ensure the bar is profitable by analyzing nightlife trends and identifying areas for growth.
✔ Monitor and manage liquor, beer, and wine inventory, ensuring cost control and optimal stock levels.
✔ Oversee execution of brunch & dinner services, ensuring exceptional beverage service.
Business & Facility Management:
✔ Maintain operations policies and standard operating procedures for bar and restaurant functions.
✔ Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, sanitation standards, and legal requirements.
✔ Maintain and manage restaurant reservation systems for optimal seating flow.
✔ Evaluate bar performance by monitoring guest satisfaction, sales data, and service efficiency, then initiate improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
✔ Experience: Minimum 2 years in a bar or restaurant management role.
✔ Leadership & Team Development: Proven ability to hire, train, and manage a successful team.
✔ Mixology & Beverage Expertise: Extensive liquor knowledge, bartending skills, and service protocols.
✔ Marketing & Promotions: Strong experience in restaurant marketing, social media engagement, and promotions.
✔ Social Media Savvy: Knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Yelp, Google, and digital marketing trends.
✔ Sales & Revenue Growth: Ability to create promotions and strategies that drive sales and guest traffic.
✔ Operational & Budget Management: Experience managing inventory, negotiating vendor pricing, and controlling costs.
