JOB TITLE: IT Support Tech I
SUPERVISOR: Director Information Technology/Security
HOURS PER WEEK: 40hrs/Non-Exempt
DEPARTMENT: Information Technology
HIRING BONUS: $1,000 after 90 days

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Provide exceptional customer service and end user support for all approved clinic software and hardware.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
1. Provide end user support for all approved clinic software.*
2. Provide basic hardware installation, repair and maintenance for computers, printers, and other peripherals as needed.*
3. Document Information Technology processes and procedures.*
4. Escalate Information Technology emerging problems to the IT Director.*
5. Maintain adequate department supply inventory.*
6. Monitor and respond to intranet-submitted Help Desk tickets.*
7. Answer and resolve incoming Help Desk calls, ensuring each is logged in IT case tracking system. *
8. Travel between clinic locations as needed.*
9. Provide basic training to end users for clinic intranet, email, application and network login procedures.*
10. Participate in after-hours work.
11. Take lead administrator and support role on applications as requested.
12. Cross-train with other IT support staff to ensure maximum end user support and adequate coverage during absences.
13. Assist in software and hardware upgrades.
14. Participate as an active team member.

16. Work in a cooperative manner with management/supervision, coworkers, customers and vendors.*
17. Abide by company policies.*
18. Other tasks as assigned.*
19. Maintain regular, in person, work attendance and punctuality, as scheduled.*
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 years of IT help desk experience.
- High degree of initiative, ability and motivation to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Work well individually and as part of a team.
- Work well in very fast paced environment and able to handle multiple projects and assignments.
- Knowledge of healthcare field.
- Basic typing skills.
- Some college level courses
