Job Title: Residential Sales Manager
Reports To: Vice President of Operations
Key Responsibilities:
- Hires, trains, and manages sales representatives. Including but not limited to providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to help the team achieve individual and collective sales goals.
- Monitoring and evaluating the team's performance and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Achieves growth and hits sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.
- Designs and implements a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures its strong presence.
- Builds and promotes strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
- Manages the marketing outreach to the local HOA communities and ensures mailers are sent to appropriate neighborhoods.
- Partners with Business Development by attending community events as needed; maintains positive relationships with Insurance agents and realtors in the community.
- Regularly provides accurate and timely reporting on sales, revenue or other requested metrics to the management team.
- Identifies emerging markets and market shifts; stays up to date with the latest trends, advancements, and regulations in the residential roofing industry. Adhering to legal and ethical standards, including compliance with licensing, permitting, and safety requirements.
- Perform monthly meetings with Team Leads, plans team functions, outings, and competitions.
- Tracks sales team KPIs and provides regular reporting to the management team.
- Ensure Team Lead and trainee have completed and signed off on training materials.
- Enters user accounts for CRM and other needed apps.
Qualifications:
- Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
- Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Strong business sense and industry expertise.
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.
- Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen, and MVR.
Physical Requirements:
Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must have the ability to lift and carry small parcels, packages and other items, to walk short distances, and drive a vehicle to deliver and pick up materials.
