We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Director of Partner Development to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing individual donor partners that align with our organizational goals. This role focuses on engaging and cultivating individual donors, particularly those who are outside of the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) region. The position requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in donor management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Focus on growing partnerships with individual donor partners outside the Dallas-Fort Worth region, through an integrated digital and traditional (mail) marketing strategy.
- Aligning traditional and digital strategies to enhance engagement and monetization.
- Lead the redesign of the partner program, integrating digital platforms (email, streaming, social media, ads) alongside traditional media (TV, print).
- Develop and execute strategies to cultivate, retain, and grow partners/donors beyond the DFW market.
- Manage and work with Partner Development Creative team members (e.g., creative content specialist, paid media specialist, and a project coordinator) to craft donor-centric campaigns and content leveraging their expertise and partnering with the Marketing team for additional resources when team capacity requires it.
- Collaborate with the Community, eChurch and Conference teams to explore opportunities for partners to further engage with The Potter’s House.
- Manage team members and external vendors to oversee the production of physical and digital assets (mailers, brochures, TV spots, emails, etc.), ensuring quality and performance standards are met.
- Partner with the Sales team to determine products to include in partner offers, managing cost against returns and ensuring timely fulfilment.
- Monitor KPIs and provide regular updates to leadership on program performance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least 7 years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, or partner management, preferably in a nonprofit or faith-based environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful multi-channel campaigns and delivering measurable results.
- Experience managing budgets and campaign expenses against revenue to ensure good financial stewardship.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, including social media platforms, Google Ads, Google Analytics, and email marketing software.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Experience in developing and implementing partnership strategies.
- Strong leadership and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across various departments.
