Job Description: As an Outdoor Power Equipment Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our customers seeking assistance with their outdoor equipment needs. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Greeting customers warmly and assessing their needs in person and over the phone.
- Providing product information, recommendations, and guidance on selecting the right outdoor power equipment based on customer requirements.
- Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system.
- Handling customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Coordinating equipment repairs and maintenance services with our service department and scheduling appointments as needed.
- Maintaining a clean and organized showroom to showcase our products effectively.
- Assisting with inventory management tasks such as receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and conducting periodic inventory counts.
- Collaborating with other team members to achieve sales targets and overall customer service goals.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in customer service or sales, preferably in a retail environment related to outdoor power equipment or similar products.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with diverse customer groups.
- Knowledge of outdoor power equipment (lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.) and their applications is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and point-of-sale software.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
