Compensation
Position starts at $17.00 per hour, however, PHN recognizes licensure, experience, education and site location when determining wage.

The general office hours for this position are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm
Position Overview
General Description:
The primary function of an Operational Clinical Technician (Scribe), is to assist in the provision of comprehensive health care as a member of a team of health care professionals. This person functions in all areas of the office setting, both clinical and front office duties. In addition, this position will assist in the creation of a patient’s medical note under the direct supervision of a Provider. The Operational Clinical Technician (Scribe) will assist with documentation for Provider while seeing patient.
Scribing Duties:
- The Operational Clinical Technician I will shadow the provider and transcribe, document into the patient EMR appropriately and accordingly.
- The Operational Clinical Technician I must sign the documentation authenticating their actions.
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant (MA): graduate of an approved school Medical Assistant (certification preferred) and/or two years’ experience in a clinical setting
- Infection Control and strong clinical knowledge
- Administering Medication
- Previous venipuncture and injection experience preferred
- Previous experience in calling prescriptions under a provider’s direction
- Computer proficient and EMR experience
