What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Engineer position at The Prime Search Group?
We are working with a leading national organization in the Downstream Oil & Gas sector, specializing in refining, distribution, and energy solutions to recruit a Project Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage downstream engineering projects from initiation through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation plans to ensure project success.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, contractors, etc.) to ensure project alignment and efficient execution.
- Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of progress and challenges.
- Monitor project performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or related field).
- PMP certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering, with at least 3 years in the downstream oil and gas sector.
- Strong knowledge of downstream processes, including refining, distribution, and related infrastructure.
- Excellent project management skills, with demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex projects.
