About the Role:
The Human Resources Generalist plays a crucial role in supporting the overall mission of our manufacturing organization by managing various HR functions. The HR Generalist will serve as a point of contact for employees, addressing their inquiries and concerns regarding policies, benefits, and workplace issues. Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Must be available to meet in Lake Orion, Michigan
- At least 2 years of experience in a human resources role
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Subcontractor & State Taxes
- Experience with HRIS systems and applicant tracking software.
- Familiarity with performance management and employee development programs.
Responsibilities:
- Reconcile travel, amex, and subcontractor payments
- State reporting
- Tax verification
- Administer employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Support employee relations by addressing concerns, conducting investigations, and facilitating conflict resolution.
