JOB TITLE: Human Resources Coordinator
JOB SUMMARY
The Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for building relationships with private and Government job placement agencies for recruiting. Ensures that job requisitions are updated regularly for landscaping and cleaning positions. Conducts phone, in-person or virtual interviews with candidates. Assists HR Manager with unemployment, employee relations, company activities and other HR related functions
POSITION REQUIREMENTS – ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Organizes and coordinates the recruitment, selection, hiring and onboarding of employees.
- Schedules and conducts customer on-site interviews, or other nearby locations, i.e., hotel meeting rooms or day office rental space.
- Coordinates, sets up, and represent the company at Job Fairs.
- Maintains HR information system records and complies and reviews reports from database on an ad hoc or scheduled timeframe.
- Ensures the preparation and maintenance of records per Federal, State, and Local regulations.
- Coordinates and manages all HRIS processes and procedures.
- Attention to detail and a keen sense of safeguarding other people’s information.
- Assists in continuous improvement of all Human Resources functions and processes.
- Requires local and outstate travel for recruiting and onboarding.
- Comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles and practices.
- Promote and exhibit Company culture and values.
- Some local travel required.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
ESSTENIAL EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree and recent HR internship preferred.
- Previous recruiting/employment experience.
- Previous experience in a service based industry.
- Microsoft Office (strong emphasis in Word & Excel).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid Driver’s License
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Occasional lifting from 5 - 20 lbs., unassisted (from 0 – 15% of the time)
- Sitting for extended periods of time.
- Manual dexterity needed for keyboarding and other repetitive tasks.
- The ability to bend, crouch, or stand as necessary
