AmeriCare Medical provides integrated health service to hospitals, insurance companies and private homes throughout Michigan. We are the parent company of AmeriStaff Nursing Services, Sun Medical Equipment, RxIV Pharmacy, and QCN Home Health Care; delivering a complete and unprecedented one-stop-shop, health care service solution.
We are looking to add a recruiter to our HR team. The ideal candidate will have prior recruiting experience or a willingness to learn, a cheerful disposition, enjoy working with people, and have the ability to multi-task and source positions at one time. This person will bring their collaborative skills and ideas to our team, to help in moving the company forward.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
working closely with and learning from our experienced HR team you will:
- Conduct full-cycle staff recruitment to facilitate the hiring and onboarding of new employees
- Source for healthcare professionals, mainly Home Health Aides, Licensed Practical Nurses, Physical and Occupational Therapists, and Registered Nurses through really, internet postings, social media, nursing schools, job fairs, etc.
- Review resumes, pre-screen candidates, and schedule and conduct phone, virtual, and in-person interviews to make offers of employment based on experience and job requirements
- Work closely with our Scheduling and Intake Coordinators to strategically source the right candidates based upon the needs of our patients
- Maintain and effectively work with ADP Recruitment for employee sourcing and onboarding
- Organize weekly new hire orientations; conduct interactive orientation and onboarding presentations and discussions using PowerPoint and other medium
- This is an in-office position, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm M-F
Requirements
- This is an entry-level / up to 1 year of experience position. While a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related area is preferred, strong consideration for appropriate experience or in-process degrees given
- Some recruitment experience preferred
- Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook, web-based job boards such as really
- Experience with ADP WFN ideal
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well in an open team environment
- Proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships
