As a part-time Associate, Studio & People Operations your role will be to help lead the development and ongoing iterations of our people function and studio operations. You’ll sit at the intersection of HR, company culture, facilities, company marketing and other things small and large that help make The Program so special. Through the development of people programs and initiatives, you’ll play a critical role in the connection of everyone at The Program; managers, co-workers, and leadership. Through the day-to-day management of our studio operations, you’ll ensure our Portland studio is operating efficiently, while ensuring our remote team members remain connected. 


This is a part-time, Portland, Oregon based position. There is potential for future full time work and we are open to full-time candidates from the start. Please notate in your application.


Responsibilities: Team (People) Operations


  • Provide HR generalist experience and lead HR Compliance efforts.
  • Be the go-to person for our team members for all people-related ideas, questions, or concerns. When issues arise, you will approach them with your problem-solving and conflict-management skills, and become a trusted ally they can rely on.
  • Support people programs and initiatives, development planning, engagement surveys, and listening. Partner with Leadership and Management for team member performance and compensation, balancing the needs of the business and our team members.
  • Energize policies, procedures, and practices that address necessary regulatory requirements, but also build a beyond-compliance mindset that injects excitement and energizes our team members.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding and throughout the employment lifecycle in our hybrid working environment to ensure every team member is connected and engaged
  • Support recruiting initiatives and applicant tracking for both FTE staff and contractors; continually expanding our roster.
  • Conduct regular workload check-ins with team members.


Responsibilities: Studio Operations


  • Help ensure all aspects of the Portland studio are functioning, including but not limited to: supplies, tech, access controls, etc.
  • Develop a cadence and strategic approach for company wide communications; from required compliance comms to spontaneous notes, you’ll support the business with a cohesive and unified messaging approach.
  • Manage internal company marketing projects (case studies, website updates, newsletter, etc)
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for team members.
  • Ensure office readiness for client meetings, including setup, cleanup, and hospitality needs.
  • Plan and execute in-office and offsite activities to promote team bonding and engagement
  • Maintain kitchen supplies, snacks, and fridge organization.
  • Reliable vehicle and driver's license with a willingness to drive as necessary to complete the duties and functions of the position.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs of gear, equipment, and supplies from time to time; lending a helping hand as needed.


Qualifications


  • 4 years of relevant People Operations and/or Studio Operations experience.
  • Strong communication skills; you listen attentively and speak graciously. Ability to receive and deliver constructive feedback.
  • Diligent organizational skills with demonstrated proficiency across platforms and tools.
  • Strategic approach to work; you identify the need, develop the plan, and implement the solution.
  • Well rounded HR generalist and compliance knowledge.
  • You approach work with a positive, can-do attitude and thrive in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.


Details


  • This is an in-office Portland, Oregon position with approximately three days per week in office. We’re committed to maintaining a professional level of flexibility for our team to do their best work.

  • Hourly Rate or Salary is TBD depending on experience.
