What are the responsibilities and job description for the Occupational Therapist position at The Provider Finder?
Responsibilities:
- Conducts evaluations consistent with and appropriate for clients.
- Designs a treatment plan that is goal oriented based upon interpretation of evaluation results and client’s goals.
- Establishes goals that are Specific Measurable Achievable Relevant and Time-bound
- Performs re-evaluations per insurance criteria with modifications/updates of goals as dictated by client’s progress.
- Effective written and oral communication skills
Qualification:
Minimum Education:
- Graduation from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy
Minimum Experience:
- Experience in conducting evaluations in both Pediatric clinics and Home settings is preferred.
- 1-year working experience in pediatrics preferred.
- Required skills include planning, administering, scoring, and interpreting tests related to development in motor coordination and adaptive skills.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
Required Certification and/or Registration:
- License from the California Board of Occupational Therapy (CBOT)
- OTR License (Required)
