GENERAL DESCRIPTION (1-3 LINES DESCRIBING ROLE): |

The Math Specialist provides on-site instructional support to teachers to improve mathematics teaching and learning aligned with curriculum standards and research-based best practices. The Math Specialist is a facilitator of mathematical understanding for teachers; which will have an impact on student learning. This position is a 190-day school-year-based position. |

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: |

Work Environment: Work is generally performed in a school environment, typically during the school day. There may be after-school meetings and the occasional need for an evening meeting. Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the teacher is frequently required to walk, stand, sit, talk, and hear. Must have sufficient mobility to navigate within a large school building. Must have hearing and vision to a correctable normal range. Must have a valid MA drivers license and ability to visit multiple schools. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Salary : $65,000 - $105,000
