GENERAL DESCRIPTION (1-3 LINES DESCRIBING ROLE): |

The NEDP Site Coordinator is the leader of a team that is responsible for the overall development, administration, supervision, and execution of the School Age Childcare Program, providing a safe, enriching, and respectful after school childcare community for school aged students in grades K through 5 at one of the four elementary schools in Northborough. The qualifications and specifications of this position include demonstrating a thorough knowledge and execution of the regulations and policies of the Department of Early Education and Care (EEC). |

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: |

Work Environment: Work is generally performed in a school/office environment during the school day, however there may be occasions for after school meetings. Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the site coordinator is frequently required to walk, stand, sit, talk, and hear. The site coordinator is regularly required to bend, stoop, crouch and/or kneel. The site coordinator is occasionally required to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Must have sufficient mobility to navigate within a large school building. Must be able to navigate uneven terrain in the form of sand, hills, concrete and woods. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close-up vision, distance, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The job requires high levels of alertness and concentration. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
