GENERAL DESCRIPTION (1-3 LINES DESCRIBING ROLE):
The baseball coaching position would be a commitment from March 22 - May 30. Duties included are: scheduling practices, daily practice plans, emailing parents and families, distribution and collection of medical forms, equipment management, uniform distribution, supervising games and transportation to games.
QUALIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Coaching experience required
- Ability to organize game and practice plans
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES (NOT LIMITED TO):
Example:
- Supervision of students before, during, and after games
- Provide practice plans, structured drills, and meaningful feedback
- Weekly communication with parent/guardian
- Preparing the fields
- Communicate with Athletic Director/Principal
- Reporting injuries to Athletic Director and nurse
- Punctual and professional
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Work Environment:
Work is generally performed after the school day, however there are some occasions that meetings will occur during the day.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the coach is frequently required to walk, stand, sit, talk, and hear. The coach is regularly required to bend, stoop, crouch and/or kneel. The coach is occasionally required to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Must have sufficient mobility to navigate within a large school building.
