Summary Of Position
The Grants Compliance Manager is responsible for recording and reporting financial data, providing support to the PRCC Directors, is responsible for writing grant proposals, obtaining funding, recording, and reporting grant activity, and assisting all involved parties with the terms and conditions of the program.
TO PERFORM THIS JOB SUCCESSFULLY, AN INDIVIDUAL MUST BE ABLE TO PERFORM EACH ESSENTIAL DUTY SATISFACTORILY. THE REQUIREMENTS LISTED BELOW ARE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND/OR ABILITY REQUIRED. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Prepare and/or review information and reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Develop and modify policies/procedures/systems by state and federal regulations and organizational needs and objectives
- Assist in preparations for external monitoring visits, reviews, audits, and cross-site evaluations and participate as appropriate
- Establish and maintain electronic and hard copy files for each grant-funded project to be used for tracking and reporting purposes
- Conduct routine compliance reviews of grant programs
- Help develop budgets for grant projects
- Work with HR Director to develop an effective compliance training workshop and provide necessary training to program staff as it relates to grant administration and compliance policies
- Identify potential areas of compliance risk factors; remain abreast of all compliance changes, and activities and identify trends; communicate appropriately with staff concerning policies, procedures, and updates
- Serves as liaison between granting entity and agency
- Attends the PRCC and program-specific and organizational activities and meetings, including but not limited to the monthly organization-wide General Assembly
- Participates in organizational annual events including but not limited to the Puerto Rican People’s Parade, Fiesta Boricua, Three Kings Day, and Haunted Paseo Boricua
- Performs other functions assigned
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possess a minimum of 2 years experience in business management, accounting, or related experience managing grants
- Have Grant Writing experience
- Bilingual - English/Spanish preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs
- Must possess analytical skills and evaluation techniques
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Ability to manage multiple projects with close attention to detail

- Master’s degree required
