What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Maintenance and Custodial Technician position at The Pumphouse Riverside Restaurant and Bar?
Responsibilities for Janitorial & Maintenance duties:
- Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, or buffing
- Clean windows, mirrors and furniture
- Clean restrooms, counters and fill supplies
- Remove waste and empty trash
- Replenish cleaning and maintenance supplies
- Organize janitorial storage areas
- Cut/Trim some areas of the grounds
- Pick up debris and trash around the grounds
- Break down boxes and take to dumpsters
- Replace lighting as needed
- Paint as needed
- Check rooftop for debris and check AC's
- Notify GM about unsafe conditions or concerning the need for repairs or maintenance
Responsibilities for Maintenance
Able to maintain, troubleshoot and perform minor repair of all buildings and equipment, including HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing and more.
Qualifications for Janitor/Maintenance
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Ability to observe safety and security procedures and to comply with policies
- Ability to read and interpret written information; ability to write clear statements; ability to communicate orally
- Must be able to do physical work and operate power equipment normally found in janitorial operations
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow schedules and keep commitments
- Ability to follow directions from a supervisor
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism
- Must be able to manage time efficiently and to work individually as well as within a team
