Summary
The QTI Group is partnering with a Madison-based non-profit organization to hire its next Accounting Manager due to an upcoming retirement. As a member of the leadership team, the Accounting Manager will report to the Executive Director and oversee all accounting activities to support the non-profit's mission. Our client's leadership team supports an open door policy and casual environment, so it will be important that this person is a problem-solver and embraces the unexpected, even if it's outside the "accounting zone". Each day can be different and exciting!
Responsibilities include :
- Lead and administer all accounting policies, procedures, and processes.
- Supervise and work side-by-side with the Accounting Assistant in all A / P & A / R, billing, payroll, cash, and other accounting duties.
- Ensure accuracy data in financial systems
- Provide financial reports to Executive Director, Program Directors, Board of Directors and Finance Committee
- Partner with Executive Director to oversee the budgetary process
- Ensure compliance and complete all state, federal, and local non-profit reporting and certifications.
Qualifications :
Location : In person - Madison, Wisconsin.
Compensation & Benefits : $80,000 annual salary, depending on experience, and full benefit package including health, dental, life, disability, and generous PTO. You can participate in the company's 403(b) plan, to which the organization will make a 10% of salary contribution to after 2 years of employment.
