Responsibilities
The Registrar, under general direction, is responsible for providing secretarial, clerical and administrative support to ensure that school services are provided in an effective and efficient manner. This position maintains all incoming and outgoing student records. They act as the school contact for student withdrawal and transcript requests.
Compensation is dependent upon experience and degree obtained.

Work Environment
This job operates in a school setting. School is located on two campuses approximately two blocks away with the administrative office in a third location between the two campuses. All three buildings have an elevator. This role requires regular walking to various locations around the school.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. This position is active and involves continuous standing, walking, and climbing stairs. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move items under 20 pounds. Typing is required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Position Type And Expected Hours Of Work
This is a full-time exempt position in an educational facility that is open eight hours a day, 12 months a year. Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required; anticipate at least three of these events throughout the year. In general, though, hours are Monday-Friday, 8am - 4pm.

- Maintains all student incoming and outgoing records
- Fulfills parent requests for student information
- Collects and updates all student immunization and health screening documents
- Notifies necessary staff of required updates to student’s special programs status
- Cross-verify enrollment documents and information updates; communicates changes to Document Processor
- Manually enters and maintains student information into the Student Information System
- Communications with local and state agencies as well as other schools or districts to obtain records or information
- Efficiently processes all withdrawal requirements
- Assist administration with various projects
- Knowledge of creating a master schedule of student courses
- Providing official forms for families and schools
