Position: Senior Patient Registrar
Location: Brooklyn, NY 11215
Duration: 3-month contract with extension possibilities.
Shift: Day shift - 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (M-F)
Pay - $31/hr
Manager’s note: Will support two surgeons across various BMG and CCH practices. 3 years of clerical experience, Customer service experience in healthcare, Effective communication/Phone skills, Knowledge of health insurance. Dress Code- Ceil Blue Scrubs.
Job Duties:
- Manage the check-in and check-out processes using EPIC.
- Ensure patient records are accurate and up to date.
- Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information.
- Handle appointment scheduling and manage the office’s calendar.
- Assist patients with any inquiries or concerns.
- Process payments and handle billing inquiries.
- Coordinate with other departments and medical staff for patient care.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA.
Skills and qualifications:
- 3 years of administrative/clerical experience in a medical office environment.
- Proficiency with EPIC for patient registration.
- MUST Speak Mandarin or Cantonese.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures.
Education: High School Diploma/GED
