Residential & mixed-use buildings owner / manager seeks in-house property manager for Brooklyn Portfolio (~60 small/midsize properties in North and Central Brooklyn (Bed Stuy, Bushwick, Crown Heights, PLG)
-Hands-on position. Property manager to be fully engaged in day-to-day operation of portfolio and take full ownership of role
-Minimum of 1 year related property management and construction experience
-Knowledge of Dept. of Buildings, ECB & HPD procedures a must
-Knowledge of DHCR, Section 8, rent-stabilization and rent-control
-Strong understanding of real estate laws
-Must be detail-oriented, dynamic, possess superior organizational skills and excellent at multi-tasking
-Ability to manage multiple construction / renovation projects; communicate effectively with tenants and senior management, meet multiple demands and deadlines in fast-paced work environment
-Accessible via phone and/or email at all times to address emergency issues
-Ideal candidate has a network of suppliers and vendors, or at minimum can easily create one
-Strong computer skills. Proficiency with Excel. Proficiency with property management softwares such as Yardi and AppFolio. Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
-Languages: English (required), Spanish (not required but preferred)
-Driver's license required

Pay: $55,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
