Role Overview
As an Account Executive, you’ll act as the strategic and operational lead for key client accounts, ensuring the delivery of innovative marketing solutions aligned with our clients’ business objectives. You’ll oversee client relationships and manage the development and execution of campaigns across The Rally Company’s diverse service offerings. You’ll lead meetings and presentations, manage project details, provide support in content creation and also contribute to agency new business development. This role will have flexibility to establish systems, documents, and work styles that work for them, while supporting agency clients and the role of the position.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building strong, trust-based relationships.
- Understand clients’ business, products, services, goals and challenges to deliver tailored strategies that drive results.
- Provide clear communication, regular updates, and performance insights to clients through planned check-ins, presentations and ad hoc calls.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring flawless execution across multiple client accounts.
- Anticipate potential challenges, troubleshoot issues, and keep projects on track to meet or exceed client expectations.
Strategic Leadership:
- Support the development of comprehensive brand and campaign strategies for clients, effectively communicating how they will come to life, be measured and optimized, and meet client objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure deliverables align with the client’s vision and objectives. This means development of creative/input briefs, conducting input meetings and internal reviews.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, audience behaviors, and competitive landscapes to guide client strategy.
- Act as a role model within the agency, championing collaboration, creativity, and a results-oriented mindset.
Campaign Oversight:
- Manage the execution of integrated campaigns, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget adherence.
- Oversee multi-channel marketing efforts, including digital, social, and traditional media.
- Ensure all deliverables reinforce the client’s brand identity and messaging, leveraging The Rally Company’s expertise in brand strategy and design.
- Analyze campaign performance data, and aid in assembling monthly or quarterly performance reports, providing insights and recommendations to enhance performance
- When necessary, coordinate with creative resources and vendors to secure estimates, file and material details, schedule and attend studio edit sessions, press checks, etc.
Team Management:
- Collaborate with team members, fostering professional growth and team efficiency.
- Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, driving collaboration and alignment.
- Manage projects, details and deliverables via Trello, our project management platform.
- Ensure all created assets and client files are saved and categorized appropriately via Dropbox or similar platforms.
Agency New Business:
- Support agency leadership in the development of new business pitches, RFP responses and join presentations to represent the agency.
- Develop social media and email marketing that showcases our clients’ work, The Rally Company’s capabilities, community and regional impact, and much more.
- Attend select networking events to make connections and support awareness efforts for The Rally Company.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field.
- 3 years of account management experience within an advertising agency or marketing environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple campaigns and client relationships simultaneously.
- Expertise in integrated marketing, digital platforms, and campaign strategy.
- Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Experience in brand building, content strategy, and performance marketing is preferred.
