As part of the Product and Portfolio team, The Implementation Specialist supports Implementation Managers in onboarding new clients and implementations tasks to expand services for existing clients. This individual has knowledge and expertise of Rawlings services and is professional, responsive, and flexible. The Implementation Specialist should be a detail-oriented problem solver with strong organizational and communication skills who demonstrates the ability to build effective internal and external relationships.
What you’ll do
- Participates on the client implementation team by completing tasks assigned by the Implementation Managers; identifying barriers to a successful implementation; and performing problem resolution to meet target project completion dates.
- Compiles relevant information in anticipation of implementation kick-off meetings and recurring implementation meetings and designs presentation materials.
- Supports the Implementation Managers in maintaining relationships with internal and external customers.
- Provides immediate response and resolution to general and routine client questions.
- Responds to internal requests from all departments within the Company.
- Partners with other implementation team members to execute implementation tasks for client expansions.
- Collaborates regularly with co-workers and colleagues to provide thorough, accurate information to outside clients and internal customers.
- Assists in monitoring developments within our clients’ companies and promptly notifies the Implementation Managers of relevant new information within our clients’ companies.
- Effectively prioritize and multitask in a self-sufficient manner to meet internal and external deadlines.
- May facilitate internal/external implementation calls.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
What experience you bring (Role Requirements)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience working in Payment Integrity, Subrogation and Workers’ Compensation or Drug Claim Payment Integrity.
- Certification in Project Management is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word, and excellent Microsoft PowerPoint skills are a must. A creative flair in designing presentations is a plus.
- The ability to understand and respond to a client’s needs is essential.
- A sound knowledge of the health insurance industry or previous work experience in health insurance or industry is required.
- Demonstrate experience in implementation or project management is preferred.
- Attention to detail with the ability to think, respond, and act effectively under pressure.
- Flexibility – being ready to assess and adjust priorities when a client has an immediate need or urgent question.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (writing sample will be required).
- The ability to research answers issues independently or derive answers from previous knowledge and experience.
- Always displays professional behavior. This applies equally to personal, written, or telephone contact.

Pay range:
This is an exempt position. Compensation will be determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, skill set, years of experience, and the employee’s geographic location.
