About the Opportunity

As part of the Product and Portfolio team, The Technical Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the delivery of complex IT infrastructure and solutions. This individual will manage multiple large, cross-functional projects, ensuring they are completed on time and meet organizational objectives. By applying their technical expertise, strategic insight, and strong interpersonal skills, they will lead teams, maintain project timelines and budgets, and implement scalable, secure IT solutions that align with the company's goals.

What you’ll do

  • Oversee multiple concurrent IT infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget. (OneDrive Migration, Windows 11 Upgrades, Zoom Phone Optimization).
  • Foster strong relationships with internal teams, leadership, and vendors to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project updates, ensuring clear communication across diverse audiences.
  • Lead project meetings, status updates, and issue resolution, keeping all stakeholders informed and engaged.
  • Provide periodic updates on project progress, communicating timelines, status, issue resolutions, and any potential disruptions.
  • Design and implement strategies to drive user adoption and minimize disruptions.
  • Create communication plans, training materials, and support resources to facilitate smooth transitions.
  • Plan and prepare for user training, ensuring successful adoption of new systems or services.
  • Monitor feedback and ensure high user satisfaction.
  • Lead all phases of the project lifecycle, from planning to closure, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk assessments, prioritizing tasks and adapting to shifting requirements.
  • Track KPIs to measure success and identify areas for improvement, proactively mitigating risks such as people dependency, hardware disruptions, and security/compliance issues (knowledge of HIPAA/HITECH/HITRUST is a plus).
  • Set up testing phases and checkpoints throughout the lifecycle to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Work with IT teams to define and implement technical requirements.
  • Oversee vendor performance to ensure deliverables meet technical and contractual standards.
  • Contribute to system testing, validation, and post-implementation support for smooth operational handover.
  • Ensure all project documentation is up to date to support user training and smooth implementation.

 

What experience you bring (Role Requirements)

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred. 
  • 3 years of Project Management experience with software engineering and/or infrastructure teams. 
  • PMP or equivalent certification preferred. 
  • Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid), tailored to infrastructure projects and the full software development lifecycle. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). 
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure concepts, including systems, networking, virtualization, cloud technologies (AWS/Azure), data storage, databases, data lakes/warehouses, and datacenter operations. 
  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, JIRA, Azure DevOps) for tracking projects, people, and processes. 
  • Budget management skills, including cost estimation, financial tracking, and reporting to ensure projects stay within budget. 
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to gather requirements, communicate progress, and align project outcomes with business objectives. 
  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams toward shared project goals. 
  • Effective time management to handle multiple aspects of large projects simultaneously. 
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical issues in business terms to stakeholders and executives.

Pay range:

This is an exempt position. Compensation will be determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, skill set, years of experience, and the employee’s geographic location.
