Financial Case Manager Job Description
We are seeking a passionate full-time Financial Case Manager to join our recovery team. This role is responsible for providing comprehensive support to clients, ensuring compliance with State and Federal guidelines, and developing individualized aftercare plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain open communication and collaboration with the multidisciplinary treatment team to address aftercare and discharge planning needs.
- Develop individualized aftercare appointments by collaborating with patients.
- Ensure follow-up appointments are made within 7 days of discharge from our facility with a behavioral health provider.
- Coordinate directly with referents and payors to ensure continued care needs are met.
- Collect Co-pays, Deductibles, and private pay fees within 24 hours of the client's admission.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a health-related field, Finance/Accounting or Medical Management experience preferred.
- Minimum one- or two-years' experience, preferred experience in the medical, behavioral healthcare or financial field.
- Familiar with community resources and proficient in providing, discussing, and resolving financial issues and policies.
