Responsibilities:
- Create engaging activities that promote high levels of patient participation.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient participation and attendance tracking.
- Plan, organize, and direct activities to facilitate patient recovery and well-being, including off-site outings.
- Coordinate and facilitate activities committee meetings to ensure distribution of the monthly activities calendar.
- Ensure inventory of supplies are provided on-site.
- Support the treatment team with patient interventions and de-escalation as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum high school diploma required; post-secondary education preferred.
- Minimum one (1) year experience.
- Good driving record that meets safety and company insurance standards.
- Certification in Recreation Therapy preferred.
- CPR and Standard First Aid certification required.
