Scheduler
Qualifications
-Minimum of one year of health care training and/or staff coordinator experience in either acute or long-term care including supervisory experience
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Administrative and organizational ability
-Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate
General Duties
-Follow NHPPD staffing audit guidelines and report to Administrator and DON if a minimum of a daily average of 3.5 total nursing hours per residetn day is not being met.
-Ensure adequate and appropriate staffing of the facility nursing department to meet the needs of the residents.
-Maintain daily tardy and absenteeism calendars
-Report to DON all employees with excess tardiness or absenteeism in accordance with facility policy.
-Complete monthly nursing schedule coordinating requests to ensure appropriate coverage of unit and daily assignments for all CNA's and licensed nurses.
-Assist employees in accurate completion of forms pertinent to scheduling and staffing
-Answer employee calls regarding staffing/scheduling functions
-Assist in making daily rounds to ensure residents are receiving appropriate nursing care.
-Assist in auditing CNA documentation daily
-Assist with maintaining records of current certifications/licenses for nursing department employees
Central Supply Coordinator
Principal Responsibilities
Clinical
-Checks inventory and keeps accurate accounting.
Administrative
-Records pricing of items and informs billing department
-Operates supply function within budget
-participates in meetings and in-services as required
-Conducts in-services as required.
Qualifications
-High School Diploma
-Additional courses in central services techniques
-Supervision, psychology and work simplification preferred.
-Experience in central supply, particularly in a hospital setting, preferred.
-CNA Certificate
Consumer service
-Presents professional image to consumers through dress, behavior and speech.
-Adheres to company standards for resolving consumer concerns.
-Ensures all patient/resident rights are protected.
