Come join a growing insurance agency with locations in Albany, Orange, and Ulster Counties. We are currently seeking experienced candidates for full-time Commercial Lines Account Manager for our Kingston, Location.
This position is accountable for delivering high quality and efficient service to both internal and external customers while adhering to the highest ethical standards, promoting the image of the Agency and providing superior levels of customer satisfaction that drive long-term relationships. Some remote work can be made available.
Duties include:
Day to day Commercial Lines Account Management and service
Manage a mixed book of business - expiration/renewals by gathering all required renewal information for obtaining renewal quotes and policies
Renewal policy, change requests, endorsement and audit checking and processing
Work with underwriters/carriers, premium negotiation, policy binding/issuance including Excess Lines and surplus documents
Obtaining online policy documents
File management, updating and documentation of the management system
Issue binders, auto ID cards, LPR’s, form letters, generate finance agreements
Agency Billing to Accounting
Remarketing/quoting with completed application submissions
Cross-selling and servicing for assigned commercial accounts
Billing inquiries when support is unavailable
Certificates of Insurance when support is unavailable
Claims reporting and service as needed when support is unavailable
Educate and problem solve with customers by providing service via telephone and email correspondence
Maintain professional relationships and customer retention with excellence in service.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
A valid New York State Property and Casualty Brokers License and at least (2) years of prior Commercial Lines account service experience are REQUIRED.
- Knowledge of AMS360 and Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred.
