Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments for mental health services.
- Work with patients and providers to ensure timely and accurate appointment scheduling.
- Manage phone calls, and patient inquiries professionally and with empathy.
- Maintain an organized scheduling system and ensure smooth operations.
- Handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and in compliance with privacy laws.
- Provide support to patients and staff regarding appointment changes, cancellations, or reschedules.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in medical scheduling, preferably in a mental health or healthcare setting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Empathetic, patient-focused, and able to work with diverse populations.
- Ability to handle a high volume of calls and appointments in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with scheduling software and office equipment.
