Are you organized, compassionate, and passionate about making a difference in mental health care? We are looking for a dedicated Medical Scheduler to join our team and help coordinate patient appointments with a focus on mental health services.
Location: Vadnais Heights/Burnsville/Hudson
Key Responsibilities:
· Schedule and confirm patient appointments for mental health services.
· Work with patients and providers to ensure timely and accurate appointment scheduling.
· Manage phone calls, and patient inquiries professionally and with empathy.
· Maintain an organized scheduling system and ensure smooth operations.
· Handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and in compliance with privacy laws.
· Provide support to patients and staff regarding appointment changes, cancellations, or reschedules.
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in medical scheduling, preferably in a mental health or healthcare setting.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Empathetic, patient-focused, and able to work with diverse populations.
· Ability to handle a high volume of calls and appointments in a fast-paced environment.
· Familiarity with scheduling software and office equipment.
