Position Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and clerical support to the Philadelphia Center City site, including phone and front desk reception.
- Partner with the New York City site administrative assistant to remotely provide administrative and clerical support to that site.
- Communication with patient/family at both sites reviewing and documenting insurance benefits and financial responsibility.
- Generate reports, collect patient fees, and handle electronic scheduling.
- Manage patient census and electronic billing procedures.
- Responsible for office environment and coordination of vendor services at Philadelphia Center City site.
- Maintaining a high degree of professionalism, warmth, and confidentiality to protect our client’s rights. This includes professional interaction with clients, families, staff, and guests.
Education, Competencies and Credentials:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred not required
- 2 years’ experience in healthcare office setting preferred
- Knowledge of insurance and billing preferred
- Advanced customer service/support ability
- Ability to work independently as well as a team.
- Managing multiple tasks accurately and in a timely manner, and skill at prioritizing.
- Must have solid computer literacy; excellent writing skills and strong administrative/organizational abilities.
Hours: 40 hours per week.
