Position Responsibilities:
· Revenue cycle management in a behavioral health setting.
· Manages monthly accounts receivable.
· Resolves unpaid claims and self-pay balances.
· Works with payors to ensure proper reimbursement is received.
· Creates billing statements, send appeals when necessary, prepare accounts for collections and handle all correspondences.
· Identify and escalate payor, reimbursement, or process issues.
Education, Competencies and Credentials:
· 2 to 4 years of medical account receivable experience required.
· Experience with medical billing, denials, and approvals.
· College degree and/or EMR experience preferred.
· Experience working with MS Office and online payor portals (i.e. NaviNet)
Hours: M-F 40 hours per week
