TITLE: Event Sales Associate

RESPONSIBLE TO: Sales Manager

FLSA STATUS: Exempt / Salary

POSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:
This individual will oversee the day to day administrative tasks. Answering phones, taking orders, putting orders into software system, handling paperwork, and any other tasks as needed. Must be able to adapt to the ever-changing event industry and have a great attitude while working with clients. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication as well as the ability to work well with others.

No real event sales experience needed. Training provided.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Use our software system to gain a full understanding of rental items
Answer telephones in timely manner

Take and input orders into rental software

Properly handle any day to day paperwork

Update orders as needed

Update showroom as needed

Run daily reports as needed

Ability to deal with clients directly. On phone and in person

Attend networking meetings if needed.

Maintain a clean work space

All other duties as assigned

Must understand and implement time management skills

WORKING & PHYSICAL CONDITIONS:
Generally works in a temperature-controlled office setting

Generally works a 40 hour week.

Typical physical demands include standing

May require site visits to venues and job sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
