Job Purpose
Performs general labor, preventative and general maintenance on all TRM grounds and facilities and assists with keeping the properties safe and in good repair. Assists with troubleshooting maintenance problems involving electrical, structural, plumbing, landscaping, irrigation systems, and equipment repair or replacement.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Performs building and grounds maintenance, inspections, and repairs for properties owned and / or leased by TRM.
- Coordinates repairs on all facilities and systems- electrical, heating, fire alarm and prevention, key, security / surveillance, cooling, lighting, plumbing and HVAC as directed.
- Proactively inspects and addresses facility maintenance and safety issues, ensuring proper documentation and reporting of issues.
- Assists with maintenance and repair of electrical and lighting systems, plumbing systems, fire alarm and fire prevention systems, lock systems and burglar alarm systems and irrigation systems as directed through the Work Request system.
- Paints interior and exterior of TRM facilities.
- Prepares vacated apartments for new tenant occupancy.
- Completes work requests in a timely manner and documents work completed.
- Submits receipts and documents to the Director of Facilities.
- Oversees some facility maintenance / repair projects as assigned.
- Works with volunteers / program participants / interns as needed ensuring mutually beneficial volunteer / intern experience and quality of work.
- Oversees safety program.
- Performs other duties as assigned to support others and ensure an efficient and effective work environment.
Working Conditions
Varied; travel required between locations; may be required to be outdoors in inclement weather and / or work irregular hours; interact with people from various backgrounds. On-call duties as requested.

Primary Location of Work :
Office is at Adams Street Family Campus. Work performed frequently at all TRM sites.
