A renowned upscale and night life restaurant group in the greater Miami, FL area is seeking a qualified Financial Analyst to help spearhead their finance department. As a Financial Analyst , you will play a critical role in analyzing financial performance, optimizing operational efficiency, and providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, marketing, and leadership, to ensure the financial health and success of our restaurant group.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Analysis & Reporting :
Analyze key financial metrics, such as revenue, cost of goods sold, labor costs, and EBITDA.
- Prepare detailed financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses for leadership.
- Develop dashboards to track KPIs across locations.
Budgeting & Forecasting :
Assist in the creation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
Operational Support :
Provide financial insights to restaurant managers to improve profitability and efficiency.
Strategic Planning :
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities.
Compliance & Risk Management :
Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal policies.
Qualifications
3 years in financial analysis, preferably in the restaurant, hospitality, or retail sectors.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, financial software, and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
