Nurse Practitioner Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a Monday-Friday CRNP, psych and addiction medicine focus/experience preferred. This contract/1099 position requires on-site, in-person work with patients located at an inpatient substance use disorder treatment setting Monday-Friday approximately 4-6 hours per day, plus on-call availability for medical concerns and admission approvals. These on-call communications consist primarily of brief message reviews using our HIPAA-compliant messaging app and require no in-person attention. In-person hours are flexible.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, including physical examinations and medical histories.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including laboratory results and coding for billing purposes.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards while delivering exceptional patient care.
Experience
- Proven experience working with SUD and/or psych patients in a clinical setting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with laboratory processes and coding practices is a plus.
- Experience in MAT preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
