Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical products, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships, processing orders, and providing product knowledge to ensure our clients receive the best solutions for their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through phone calls, emails, and in-person visits as needed. Understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Sales Support: Assist customers with product inquiries, pricing, and availability. Provide quotes and process orders efficiently and accurately.
- Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the latest electrical products and industry trends. Be able to educate customers on product features, benefits, and applications.
- Sales Goals: Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the outside sales team and other departments to ensure seamless communication and support for customer needs.
- Market Research: Gather and analyze market intelligence to identify new sales opportunities and customer needs. Report findings to management for strategic planning.
- Customer Service: Resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associates or bachelors degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inside sales, preferably in the electrical distribution or related industry.
- Strong understanding of electrical products and applications is highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve and exceed sales goals.
