Outdoor Power Equipment - Territory Sales - Remote 75% Travel Required
Are you a Business Development Manager with experience in B2B outdoor power equipment parts sales? Are you located in MI, IN, OH, KY or TN?
THE RIGHT STAFF has partnered with a global specialty automotive parts distributor seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to support the growth of sales for new and existing client accounts across the outdoor power equipment vertical. This role would be traveling to client sites up to 75% of the time.
Candidates need to be local to MI, IN, OH, KY and TN.
Essential Job Duties:
• Proactively developing strategies to attract and engage potential clients.
• Conducting outreach through calls, emails, and follow-ups from leads generated by our Account Managers.
• Building rapport with prospective customers to understand their needs and identify opportunities.
• Presenting product details tailored to each client's requirements.
• Coordinating meetings, product demos, and conversations to move prospects through the pipeline.
• Managing ongoing communication with interested leads and current customers to foster long-term partnerships.
• Supporting Account Managers by ensuring seamless handoffs and contributing to regional sales targets.
• Guiding customers through our digital tools for ordering and account management.
• Maintaining accurate CRM records and sharing industry insights from the field.
• Advocating for product placement, displays, and merchandising initiatives at retail locations.
Minimum Requirements:
• 4-year degree 2 year of B2B sales experience or 6 years of total B2B sales experience within OEM or aftermarket sectors.
• Must have a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Up to 75% travel required throughout MI, IN, OH, KY and TN.
• Prior experience with OEM/aftermarket parts sales within Automotive, Powersports, or Outdoor Power Equipment Parts is required.
• Must have strong communication skills, teamwork, and customer service skills.
Position Benefits, Pay, & Schedule:
• Direct-hire opportunity with competitive benefits package included
• Position is Hybrid/Remote - with travel requirements of up to 75%.
• Candidates need to be located within MI, IN, OH, KY and TN.
• Base pay is $85K bonus (avg. 20% in monthly commissions)
• Flexible hours; core business hours 8 am to 5 pm.
